We’re thrilled that you’re considering Essential Learning for your child’s K–8 education. Our enrollment process is designed to be simple, supportive, and personalized. Whether you're enrolling for the upcoming school year or transferring mid-year, we’re here to help every step of the way.

Enrollment Process

Step 1: Submit an Inquiry

Fill out our Contact Form to get started. A member of our enrollment team will follow up to answer your questions and guide you through the process.

Step 2: Schedule a Tour or Call

Visit our campus in Tempe or schedule a phone consultation.
 

Step 3: Complete Enrollment Application

Submit your child’s application using our Enrollment Form, including:

  • Student and family info

  • Previous school records (if applicable)

  • IEP or 504 documentation (if needed)

  • Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) status (if applicable)

Step 4: Intake Meeting

We meet with families (in person or virtually) to learn more about each child’s needs, strengths, and goals for the year.

Step 5: Finalize Enrollment

Once accepted, you'll receive a welcome packet with:​​

  • Parent Handbook

  • Class Placement

  • Supply Lists and Calendar

Essential Learning is a private K–8 program with a strong commitment to accessibility.

We accept:

  • Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA)

  • Private pay (monthly or semester payment plans)

Q: Can we enroll mid-year?

Yes! We accept students throughout the school year, depending on space availability.

Q: Is there a deadline to apply for scholarships?

ESA is open year-round. We recommend applying early to allow time for processing.

Do you provide transportation?

Transportation may be available on a limited basis, depending on your location and seat availability on our routes. We recommend discussing this during your tour or intake meeting.

Q: Can I visit a classroom before enrolling?

Absolutely. Classroom observations and family tours are available by request.
